Buses, trains, ferries and trams across Brisbane and South East Queensland.
50-cent flat fare
Every trip on the Translink network costs just 50 cents, no matter how far you travel or how you pay (go card, tap-and-go debit/credit card, or paper ticket). This is a permanent Queensland Government scheme, not a trial. It does not apply to the Airtrain.
Free off-peak travel for seniors
If you hold a Senior go card or Seniors Card + go, you can travel free on Brisbane City Council buses during off-peak times, and on CityCats and ferries on weekdays (normal fares apply on weekends). You must tap on and tap off every trip to receive this — if you forget, you'll be charged a fixed fare. Free travel is not available on Queensland Rail trains.
