Share your village memories — and help write our history.

Answer as many or as few questions as you like. There are no right or wrong answers, no minimum length, and no obligation to answer everything. Your memories — however small they may seem — help build the picture of what life in our village has been like over the years.

Although there is a space for your name, you do not have to provide it. You can choose to remain anonymous. You can also choose to keep your submission private as a personal or family keepsake, or consent to have it shared with the community. The choice is entirely yours.

Early memories of the village

What did the village look like when you first moved in?

It was much smaller and quieter than it is today. There were far fewer villas and the gardens were still being established — you could see the open paddocks beyond the fence. It felt like a little outpost on the edge of the suburb.

What brought you here?

My husband and I had driven past the entrance on Ridley Road many times and always thought it looked lovely and well-kept. When the time came, we didn't have to think twice. We've never regretted it for a moment.
